Buffalo is locked into the AFC's fifth seed, and coach Sean McDermott has good reason to rest many of his starters. New York will look to finish with seven wins, which is many more than expected earlier in the season when the Jets generally looked awful, especially on offense. The Jets have won five of their last seven games following Sunday's 16-10 upset of the Steelers, and they barely lost to the Bills 17-16 in September. That puts New York in a revenge spot while Buffalo is not playing for anything other than some momentum going into the playoffs. The Jets have covered the spread four of their last five as underdogs, and the dog has covered 20 of the last 28 meetings. Sam Darnold was 16 of 26 for 183 yards, including a 23-yard touchdown to Robby Anderson in the win against Pittsburgh, and Le'Veon Bell ran for 72 yards on 25 carries. Surprisingly, New York is #7 in the NFL in yards allowed, #2 in rushing yards allowed. The motivational edge goes to New York in this matchup. Take the Jets.
