New York at Baltimore

The Baltimore Orioles have just about put a bow on the AL East, but the visiting New York Yankees still have hopes as they are within striking distance of a Wild Card spot. They needed an offensive lift, and decided to give a go to former Mets flop Chris Young. The Yankees needed an offensive infusion, and Young has delivered, swatting a three run walk off HR to beat the Rays 5-4 last night. Young is hitting .500 in his first 12 at bats in pinstripes, and has knocked in 7 runs. The Yanks have a strong track record in game one of a twin bill where they are a lofty 25-9 in their last 34, and have gone 7-2 in McCarthy's last nine starts on grass. The O's have lost momentum when following an off day at 2-7 in their last nine, and have dropped Gausman's last four starts. Play the Yankees in game one.
