New Orleans at Dallas

The Mavs three straight losses probably has a lot to do with them being an underdog at home to the Hornets. The Mavs started this season poorly but have since rebounded to go 20-9 in their last 29 games. The Hornets after a 15-4 run have now stumbled to a 2-3 mark in their last five and dropped their last one at home to the lowly Knicks. It bodes well for the Mavs that the home team has won seven of the last nine played in this series and the Mavs are also great as a short dog where they have compiled a 34-16 ATS mark when posted as a dog of 4.5 or less. Hornets reeling vs good teams on the road where they are just 8-20-2 ATS against a home team with a winning record. Mavs are a live home dog here and I'll back them in this spot.
