New Jersey at Montreal

New Jersey heads out on the road with the #11 power play in the game against a shaky Montreal defense that is still without star goalie Carey Price. The Devils hold the first of two Wild Card spots in the Eastern Conference and are three points back of the New York Rangers for third in the Metropolitan Division. Kyle Palmieri leads the offense with a career-high 17 goals and the team has scored 14 goals the last six games. Montreal is giving up an average of 3.07 goals over the last 15 games, surrendering three or more in all but two. Mike Condon is 4-7-1 with a 2.73 goals-against average in 12 starts since replacing Price as the starter. At least the offense is strong, fifth in goals scored.
