Top pick: #10 (YOU'RE TOO WILD) (7-5) - Veteran mare is going turf to dirt in her second race off a Loren Cox claim. She's never won on conventional dirt but has finished second in both local main track appearances. The top pick, but make sure you reverse your exactas.

nd pick: #5 (Pleasant Memory) (5-2) - Another veteran mare, she went winless in seven starts on the Presque Isle Downs "poly" this year but finished third in the last four of those. In shape, fits with these, and 7-year-old by "Pleasant Tap" rallied to finish second here at this level and distance a year ago.

rd pick: #6 (Pack Attack) (6-1) - Stalker has finished second in five five straight with two of those coming here at Mountaineer. Mare did so here on Aug. 30 and earned her best overall figure since late in 2012. She's in a winning barn (John Faulkner) and must he left in the mix.

th pick: #7 (Winmor Gold) (10-1) - No-speed type has been saddled with a long series of inside posts and the move out in the gate is a plus. capable of grabbing a small share at a big price.

th pick: #1 (Heart of Cold) (10-1) - Old timer is better on either turf or "poly," but is another capable of rallying to get a minor award at long odds as she moves back to conventional dirt.
