Montreal is finally getting it back together, winning two of the last three as a dog each time. Montreal is fourth in the NHL in goals scored, and #12 in goals allowed. Mike Condon stopped 27 shots to help Montreal beat the Bruins 5-1 on Friday in the Winter Classic. Right wing Brendan Gallagher had a goal and an assist in his first game after missing more than a month with two broken fingers on his left hand. The Canadiens are hoping the return of Gallagher and their 5-1 win marks the start of a turnaround, as Montreal has scored nine goals in its last two wins. The Canadiens passed Florida and moved into first place in the Atlantic Division with 47 points. The Canadiens are 18-8 against a team with a losing record and face a weak Philly squad that has dropped four of five and ranks #29 in goals scored, #27 on the power play and #18 in goals allowed.
