The Canadiens have won their last three on the road and appear to have it going on right now. The Devils meanwhile, have dropped their last two at home and three of their last five games overall, and appear to be sliding. How do they right the ship? They play the Canadiens at home! The Devils are 16-2-2 in their last 20 meetings in New Jersey against the Canadiens. The last 11 have seen the Devils go 9-1-1 and outscored Montreal 43-24, limiting the Canadiens to one goal or less in over half the games! This is a good spot for the Devils, so I'll back them as a short favorite on home ice where they have dominated the Habs.
