Missouri has gotten out of the gate unblemished, so why would they be getting points playing Purdue? The main reason is they have not been tested away from their own building, and the disruptive style they play, doesn't always translate well on the road. Purdue is a very efficient team, and Missouri's entire success is predicated on forcing mistakes, and getting open 3's and transition hoops. If they don't get them they are in trouble because they struggle in a half-court game. Purdue is only turning the ball over 11 times a game, and playing at home, with good ballhandlers, is not the recipe Missouri needs to be successful. The second part Missouri's success is wearing down the opponent. Purdue has no player that averages even 30 minutes a game, so that will not be a factor either. Purdue is also not a bad team as they have already knocked off DePaul, and Oklahoma on a neutral court, and also have a home win vs Virginia. Wrong place for Missouri.
