Missouri at Kansas State

Missouri defeated Oregon State 69-63 on Sunday and now plays Kansas State in the championship round of the Paradise Jam in the Virgin Islands. Jordan Geist scored a team-leading 21 points and Kevin Puryear added 17 points for the Tigers, who held the Beavers to a .400 shooting percentage and six of 24 from three-point range. The Tigers got to the foul line 28 times and made 22 free throws compared to 9-of-14 from the line for Oregon State. The Tigers come off a 20-13 season and have several players back from that team and this will be the toughest test of the young season for Kansas State, which has four victories against weak competition.
