The Georgia Bulldogs have been performing a high-wire act this season. They lost to Clemson by 3, beat LSU by 3 and needed overtime last week to beat Tennessee. They have proven incapable of putting teams away because their defense just hasn't been able to get stops. They have had four games vs. BCS Conference opponents, and all four of those opponents have gone for 30 points or more. Some will look at the Missouri schedule and snub their 5-0 record. But just because a team hasn't beaten a top level opponent, because they haven't faced one, doesn't mean they can't. The Tigers have a lot of depth at running back, with four players close to or over 300 yards on the season. On the season, the Tigers are averaging 46.6 points per game and Georgia's defense just isn't good enough to hold them down. They are catching a Georgia team that has played a lot of tough teams, and could be feeling it physically here. Under Mark Richt, the Bulldogs are just 4-13 ATS at home off a road win and 9-18 ATS after scoring 31+ points in back-to-back games. Finally, Georiga is a horrible 1-10 ATS under Richt at home vs. top-level teams (teams at .750 or better). The Tigers have shown the capacity to get the money on the road where they are 5-1 ATS in their last six. This one is closer than it looks, so play on Mizzou.
