The New Mexico Lobos are discovering life after JR Giddens. His leadership and presence on the floor, and down the stretch play are certainly missing from this year's team. The Lobos have some great balance, but no one to turn to when things go bad, and they are missing a big rebounder to clean the glass as well. Ole Miss has gotten off to a strong 6-2 start. A lot of the early success has been the upgraded play of Florida transfer David Huertas, who leads the Rebs in scoring at 21 a game. Chris Warren who led the Rebels in scoring as a freshmen, has elevated his game to the next level as he is putting up 20+ as well. Terrico White has added another outside threat connecting on 47% from three-point range and the Rebs have been finding a lot of scoring opportunites. The Rebels have done a nice job out of conference where they have pulled in the cash in nine of their last 13, and I like them in this one vs. the leaderless Lobos.
