Minnesota at Seattle

The Twins are 0-7 in their last seven against the American League West and a long way from home. Young Samuel Deduno has a good ERA but has control problems walking 30 in 40 innings. It's tough to trust a pitcher who allows free passes and in his last three starts he's walked 14 in 17 innings! They face a Mariners team that is  14-3 in their last 17 games as a favorite, as well as  11-1 in their last 12 games as a home favorite. Seattle righty Blake Beavan is 4-1 since the All Star break and has a 2.57 ERA against Minnesota. The Mariners are 6-2 in Beavan's last eight home starts vs. a team with a losing record. Seattle is clicking at home and feeling confident, as we saw with that perfect game this week, with the Mariners 11-1 in their last 12 home games, plus 10-1 in their last 11 against a team with a losing record.
