It is easy to dismiss this Minnesota team after unloading Garnett for a group of Celtics that were part of a horrible team. The Wolves are off to the type of start everyone envisioned without Garnett at 2-12. That's where the value comes into play for this one. The T-Wolves have been very competitive, and have covered in five of seven games with a line this high. Their 1-5 road mark shows only one time they have dropped a game by 9+. The 2-12 record at a glance shows an inept team. But their early schedule has included two with Denver and New Orleans, one each with San Antonio, Dallas, Cleveland, LA Lakers and Orlando: teams that are a combined 99-53. Memphis certainly isn't burning up the court at 5-10. The Grizzles have been out-scored by 3 per game, and have only posted one win by more than 9 all season. If you go back and look at this team, they have just eight wins by more than 9 in their last 47 home games, or about 17% of the time. This is a dramatic overlay, and we will ride the competitive, hard playing T-Wolves here.
