WIN

The Twins’ work is done in the AL Central. They have no true incentive to have the best record in baseball, because if they end up World Series bound, that fate has already been determined - the NL has the home field advantage through their All-Star Game win. Last night we saw a lot of resting players with the Twins as the Tigers romped 10-1. I would expect the edge is gone for the Twins down the stretch as they begin to set their rotation and heal some wounds. The Tigers are impressive at home at 50-29 coming in, and even more impressive 10-1 in their last 11 with a total posted from 7-8.5. Bonderman has also had the Twins’ number as the Tigers stand 5-0 in his last five starts against them, and the Twins are having trouble winning here at 1-5 in their last six. I'll go with Detroit in this one.
