This is the first road game for Minnesota. It's a rebuilding season with the retirement of two key cogs, plus Rebekkah Brunson (concussion) is not on the roster and Seimone Augustus is out after undergoing knee surgery this week. Dallas plays its home opener after a close loss at Atlanta as a +10 dog. They led most of the way until a late run by the Dream. This is a talented roster as Alisha Gray scored 14 points in the opener and rookie Arike Ogunbowale chipped in 12. Newcomer Isabelle Harrison had eight rebounds and five blocks in 22 minutes, while rookie point guard Brooke McCarty-Williams provided a spark off the bench with eight points, eight assists.
