Minnesota at Boston

Boston has won nine of its last 10 after last night's 13-2 win over the Twins. The Red Sox have scored 24 runs their last two games while taking over first place in the AL East. Boston has won seven home games in a row and Minnesota has lost 31 of its last 46 road games. Eduardo Rodriguez comes off an excellent outing at New York as he held the Yankees to one run and four hits in seven innings after a short stint in the minor leagues. Kyle Gibson is 2-6 with a 5.12 ERA and has allowed 12 runs (10 earned) and 22 hits in 17 2/3 innings his last three starts, including 10 hits in six innings in a 6-1 loss against Cleveland on Sunday. Gibson has a 6.75 road ERA this season and already has been touched for five runs and seven hits in 5 2/3 innings against Boston. The Red Sox lead the majors with an .844 OPS against right-handers.
