Milwaukee has to win this game to have any chance of going to the postseason, and Brett Anderson gets the call. He is 4-3 with a 4.00 ERA. Anderson beat the Cardinals in his only appearance against this them season allowing two earned runs on five hits in six innings. The left-hander is coming off two good outings as he gave up two runs in six innings versus Cincinnati on Tuesday. St. Louis is in the playoffs with a win, but the Cards will need help if they lose and might have to play a make-up game on Monday. Austin Gomber is on the mound for St. Louis, and it will be only his fourth start this year as he mostly has been used in the bullpen.
