WIN

It's clear that the Seminoles have taken a step back with all the talent they've sent to the NFL the last two years, including star QB Jameis Winston. They are unbeaten but scored 14 points at Boston College two games ago and last week beat Wake Forest, 24-16, as -19 chalk. The Seminoles are on a 2-6 ATS run, including 1-5 ATS at home. FSU is dealing with key injuries on both sides of the line. ACC leading rusher RB Dalvin Cook is day-to-day and may not be even be fully healthy at game time. He leads the ACC in rushing with 570 yards. Eight of his 55 carries have gone for 20 yards or more, including a 94-yard touchdown on his first carry against Wake Forest. That leaves Johnathan Vickers and Jacques Patrick as the other options. Vickers got his first action last Saturday and had only 10 carries for 33 yards. Patrick has three carries this season but none since the September 5. The run game has been an important barometer in the Florida State-Miami series. Since 1988, the team that rushes for more yards has won 20 of the past 28 games. In last year's 30-26 win over the Hurricanes, Cook ran for 92 yards and scored two touchdowns, including the game-winner with three minutes remaining. The Seminoles will also be missing safety Nate Andrews (out 2-3 weeks) and LB Terrance Smith is day-to-day with a right ankle injury. Miami has extra time to rest and prepare after playing last Thursday. They have a terrific QB in Brad Kaaya (five TDs, one INT) and topped Nebraska, 36-33, with 511 yards (379 yards from QB Kaaya). Miami gets up for this rivalry and is 6-2 ATS at Florida State. In addition, the road team is 7-2 ATS and the underdog is 13-3 ATS in their last 16 meetings. Grab the points on Miami.
