LOSS

Not a lot has gone right for either team coming into this game. The Marlins are going to struggle to keep from losing 100 games, as they have retooled their team with minor league players, after last year's failure of free agent busts. The one bright spot on either side of this game has been Matt Harvey of the Mets. Harvey is pitching for a team that is 10 games under .500, but has yet to lose at 5-0 with a stellar 2.13 ERA. He has been great over his career on extended rest, as he has a 1.35 career ERA on five days rest or more over 11 starts. The Marlins are just 18-53 in their last 71 as a dog, and are just 1-6 in their last seven here in New York. Play on the Mets in this one.
