Memphis at San Antonio

Memphis doesn't need to be motivated to play great defense as they always do that, third in the NBA in points allowed, ninth in field goal shooting defense allowed. They are even more motivated now, trying to hold on to the No. 8 playoff seed in the West, a tight fight with Phoenix. The Grizzlies are 11-4-1 ATS against a team with a winning percentage above .600, plus they are on a 10-3 run UNDER the total. They face a San Antonio team that just saw its team-record win streak end at 19 games Thursday. The Spurs still have a lead over the second-place Thunder of 3 1/2 games. They pretty much took care of the No. 1 seed with that long win streak. It's hard to see San Antonio fired up for this one, and the Spurs are 1-5 ATS following a defeat. In addition, it will be a defensive game. San Antonio can play great defense, too, fourth in the NBA in points allowed, while Memphis allows a conference-low 94.2 per game.
