Memphis at Louisville

The American Athletic Conference is in it first year, and they have their first heavyweight matchup with #8 Louisville, hosting #22 Memphis. Louisville will be weakened with the dismissal of Shane Behanan from the team. While the loss hasn't shown up yet, it will hurt them against quality competition. Memphis is an up-tempo team that averages over 80 points per game, and certainly have the firepower to hang inside a pretty lofty number here. Memphis will face pressure from Louisville, but they have four senior guards that can handle the pressure. last year Louisville beat Memphis on the road by 9, but it was Behanan who made the difference by scoring 22. Memphis is 8-1 ATS in their last nine following an ATS loss, and this will be closer without Behanon. As a result, I like Memphis.
