1 unit on Game Total UNDER 57.5 -110 (risk 1 to return 1.91)
Result:
WIN

A pair of impressive defenses meet and both offenses have question marks, injuries and problems. Georgia's offense is one-dimensional, ranking 90th in the country in passing, but star RB Todd Gurley had a season-ending injury, so true freshman RB Nick Chubb will get the carries. New Georgia defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt was one of the top coaching hires of the offseason, but the Bulldogs now have uncertainty on offense after offensive signal-caller Mike Bobo left to be the head coach at Colorado State. Georgia’s secondary ranked second in the SEC in pass efficiency defense, which was an impressive showing under their first-year coordinator. Georgia is 23rd in the nation in points allowed and 5-2 under the total in bowl games. Louisville’s quarterback situation is a mystery. QB Will Gardner entered the year as the No. 1 option, but he suffered a season-ending knee injury. True freshman QB Reggie Bonnafon (5 TDs, 3 INTs) saw significant snaps but also suffered a knee injury against Kentucky. If Bonnafon doesn't play, Kyle Bolin (3 TDs, 1 pick) will start. But this Cardinal defense is awesome, like last year, 19th in the nation in points allowed (20.5 ppg). Louisville's defense allowed only nine rushing scores and limited opponents to 2.9 yards per carry this season. And Louisville is 6-1 under the total on natural grass. Play the UNDER.
