Louisiana Tech at Clemson

Both of these teams enter off a loss following three straight wins. Louisiana Tech lost by four to Utah State (as a dog) while Clemson dropped a game by 3 to Miami in which they were favored. I like the dog here for a few reasons. One, Louisiana Tech is 12-4 ATS on the road including 9-1 ATS this season as a road underdog. Secondly, they have a very good defense. They've held opponents to 40.6% shooting and 62.9 points per game. Over their last five games, they've held opponents to 37.8% and 58.6 PPG. Clemson is just 5-5 ATS at home. They score a lot here but I like Louisiana Tech's defense to keep this one closer than the seven points spread. Two stars on Tech.
