The Miami Marlins went out and spent a lot of money in the offseason, hoping the stacked rotation, and lineup would pay dividends in the standings and in the seats of their new stadium. The standings speak for themselves as the Marlins will not be playing in the postseason. The Dodgers send their best pitching option into game one here with Clayton Kershaw who is 9-6 with an ERA of 2.88 on the season. He has allowed 1 run or less in four of his last five starts. Mark Buehrle is one of the pieces the Marlins thought would bolster their staff, but his losing record and 7.08 ERA over his last four starts just isn't getting it done.
