The Los Angeles Chargers are on an 11-4-1 ATS run on the road. They come off a 27-22 road win at the New York Giants as a dog. They have a strong QB in Philip Rivers, #11 in total yards on offense and sixth in the NFL in passing yards. RB Melvin Gordon was named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week after rushing for 105 yards on 20 carries while making six catches for 58 yards. Rivers has excelled in Oakland, passing for 949 yards and eight touchdowns with only two interceptions in his last three visits. Oakland has a losing record because of a defense that is still soft, #23 in yards allowed and #25 against the run. The Raiders are off a 30-17 home loss to Baltimore as a favorite, one of three teams in the league (Chicago and Miami) yet to record an interception. QB Derek Carr is expected back, but suffered a fracture in his back in the Raiders' 16-10 loss at Denver on October 1.
