Los Angeles at Detroit

The Detroit Shock was blown out in their opener in Los Angeles, and it isn't too often that you get another shot against the same team in your next game, but the Shock will have that opportunity here. We saw this team comeback with a vengeance last year after getting blown out by Connecticut. The Shock had them at home in their next game and turned a 17-point loss into a nine-point win. The Shock has had a habit of avenging a same-season loss vs. an opponent in their next regular season game against them, as they have gone 12-4 SU. This is a completely different Shock team on their home court, and over the last 3+ years they stand at 47-12 at home. The Spark has not been the same team on the road either as they are just 13-21 over the last two years. They didn't miss Candace Parker at home, but they will miss her here. I'm going with Detroit on the moneyline to get the outright win at home.
