Los Angeles at Baltimore

It may have taken some time for all the pieces on this Los Angeles Angels team to come together, but they finally have. LA was considered a classic underachiever the past two years and also to open this season, but they have finally started to live up to the talent-rich lineup. Jered Weaver is an elite pitcher and he has pitched like one of late, recording four straight wins. He's also got a strong track record against the Birds with a 7-4 career record against them, backed by a strong 2.97 ERA. It has been a long time between wins for Chris Tillman as he has not recorded one in each of his last five starts, and was out-dueled by Weaver in his last outing. Weaver has been at his best on an extra day of rest, as the Angels are 7-0 in his last seven on five days of rest. Baltimore is not showing much bite as a home dog, coming in at 8-17 in their last 25. Back the road team Angels in this one.
