Los Angeles at Minnesota

The Los Angeles Angels fortified their lineup and pitching a year ago, and started very slowly. They have done the same this season with similar results as the Angels enter this game at 4-9. Surprisingly, the Twins have been the better team at 5-7, and have played even at home where they are .500, while the Angels are just 2-5 on the road. Minnesota faces Jason Vargas in this one, who has been horrible on the road throughout his career. Vargas carries an impressive 3.55 ERA at home, but on the road he has a career 5.18 ERA. The Angels are just 2-8 in their last 10 as a favorite, and just can't seem to get on track. Take the Twins.
