Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #10 (RAMONA LOVER) (5-2) - This filly has been freshened up since Oct. 6 when she chased and held to finish a distant 2nd at this level. She had also finished 2nd here in her previous start, and gets top billing in this one.
2nd pick: #9 (Bona Fide Image) (3-1) - Long time maiden has gone 9-0-4-3 this year with most all of those starts coming in sprints at or near this price tag. One run type makes her local debut, and she should like the long stretch here.
3rd pick: #5 (Dorita's Candy) (4-1) - $140K purchase has shown almost nothing in a series of five starts at various distances facing tougher on both dirt and turf. Freshened up since Aug. 31, she's taking a big drop here, has some fine works on view, and must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #2 (Our Bright Star) (20-1) - Longshot has a bit of speed, is lightly raced, and runs second back off an eight-month layoff. She breaks just of the rail and may hold down a share at a very big price.
