(# 1) POLYSHEBA - As per the prevalent "rumor" about turf horses liking Polytrack, there is ample turf runners signed on in this nine-furlong race on the "all weather" surface. Our filly improved significantly in second U.S. start at the Fair Grounds when sent longer after a 5.5-furlong sprint to get her fit and ready. Competed in several listed races in her native France and did so in some very large fields and a couple of times against colts. Trainer Michael Stidham adds blinkers and miss has some snappy works over the Polytrack, presumably with the "hood" on. Draws a nice ground saving post, and her running lines overseas indicate a close-up journey from just off the pace will be her strategy today. Think she'll run well at a square price.
