Kansas State at Iowa State

This is a Big 12 battle with two teams that love to run the football, which chews up yards and the clock. Kansas State is in line for another Bowl but not because of the offense, which ranks #109 in the nation in yards, #112 in passing. It's the defense that has been impressive at #23 in yards allowed, #26 in points, surrendering just 21 points per game. Bill Snyder's team took on an up-tempo Texas offense last week and won, 24-21, allowing 3.2 yards per rush. Iowa State has been up and down offensively because of a young offensive line and will struggle to move the football. Last season freshman RB Mike Warren (5.9 yards per carry) had a great year. However, he tailed off down the stretch and he's not been as strong in his sophomore campaign behind this O-line, averaging 4.2 yards per carry. Iowa State is 12-5 UNDER the total after a loss, plus 42-14-1 UNDER after allowing 200+ rushing. Meanwhile, Kansas State is winless on the road while scoring just 13, 16 and 17 points and this total is far too high. This one stays UNDER.
