Kansas City at Seattle

The Kansas City Royals have gotten a career best first half out of Jason Vargas, who is off to a 12-3 start with a nifty 2.22 ERA. He may soon hit the wall as over the last two seasons, Vargas combined to make just 12 total starts. The Mariners turn to developing Ariel Miranda who has led them to a 10-7 mark on the season with his starts allowing just 3.59 runs per contest. Over the last two seasons the Royals have had a losing record on the road, and have not fared well in Seattle where they own a dismal 20-30 mark in their last 50 games, averaging a scant 3.5 runs a contest. I think the M's have an equalizer on the mound, and a good history, so take Seattle.
