Kansas City at St. Louis

Thankfully we've steered clear of the Cards the past two weeks as they have lost eight of nine. But now it's time to look at them again as they face the second worst road team in the league. KC comes to town with their 10-32 road record and 3.5 to 6.1 average road score. Just the medicine the Cards and Albert Puljos need. If it weren't for their recent troubles, St. Louis would be a 3-to-1 favorite in this game so we are getting some value here. Puljos has faced the Royals 24 times hitting .384 with 8 HR and 27 RBI. St. Louis starts Jeff Suppan (3.22 home ERA with 4-1 record) who should have a good showing against this Royals club. Backing him up is a bullpen with a 3.39 home ERA (as compared to KC's 5.54 road ERA). Cards to roll here.
