LOSS

Kansas City has dropped five straight while Baltimore has turned things around, winning four of their last five. Garrett Olson has a 3.49 home ERA and a spotless record here. Kyle Davies started off the season very hot but has cooled dramatically of late. In his last two starts he's been shelled for 10 runs in just eight innings of action. Baltimore's offense on the road is bad but at home they are decent at 4.9 runs per game. Over their last seven, they are averaging 5.9 runs per game. Compare that to KC's 4.0 average on the road, 3.8 in night games, and 4.4 over their last seven. The Royals are 4-11 to the run line vs. AL East opponents this season and 17-29 to the run line after a loss. They are also 11-16 vs. the run line vs. winning teams on the road this season. Dating back to last season, the O's are 59-36 to the run line vs. teams that average under 4.8 runs per game. We like Baltimore to get the 2+ run win here.
