Result:
WIN

Kansas was getting a ton of points the last two years and covered both times against West Virginia and this year is the same situation only the Jayhawks have made improvement this time around. Kansas returned 19 starters and already has two wins, which is one more than it had in 2017. West Virginia comes off a big win at Texas Tech and could easily overlook this one before going on the road to Iowa State next week. The Mountaineers scored 28 first quarter points and held on the rest of the way while barely outyarding the Red Raiders 489-463. Kansas coach David Beaty will stick with quarterback Carter Stanley, who went 24-of-32 for 247 yards passing and three touchdowns and no interceptions against Oklahoma State. Stanley is a redshirt junior and didn't play at all in the first two games of the season, but filled in due to an injury to another QB and has looked good so far. The Jayhawks have covered four of the last five meetings and West Virginia is just 6-15 ATS its last 21 October games. Also, the Jayhawks are 5-1-1 ATS their last seven games when getting at least 24 points. Take Kansas to cover the big number.
