Top pick: #5 (SOFT WIND) (7-2) - $100K yearling by "Flatter" finished second when debuting at this level in late Dec. at Turfway Park. The winner that day returned to take another and a good small barn (Grant Forster) has her working nicely for her return to action.
2nd pick: #7 (Core Destination) (2-1) - She just missed in her only previous start on a fast dirt surface and has been freshened up for the past two months. Working fast at Keeneland for this outing and I almost put her on top. Stong win candidate.
3rd pick: #3 (Not Be Forgotten) (7-2) - She rallied to finish second here when debuting at this level Aug. 6. Trainer Phil Simms brings her back quickly and this filly would love a fast and/or contested pace to develop.
4th pick: #1 (Just Jan) (3-1) - Away for the past 17 months, filly raced evenly at the Fair Grounds at that time in her only start to date. In the fine barn of Larry Jones, and he's had her training well off-site.
