Top pick: #5 (NANA ANNA) (2-1) - From the "win early" barn of Wesley Ward, daughter of "Henny Hughes" set a fast and pressured pace here when debuting at this level and distance before tiring on May 17. Home-bred is working fast for her first since then, and is the only one entered with previous experience on the grass. She takes on a weak looking field of males, and is the horse to beat.

2nd pick: #1a (Mister Pollard) (5-2) - Nice debut on the Churchill dirt on June 8th saw him race close up early, swing off the rail turning for home, and level off a bit to check-in fourth of nine, beaten just over four lengths. He's worked fast since, and a good barn (Mike laurer) moves him to the grass for his second appearance.

3rd pick: #2 (Bisque) (4-1) - Debuting gelding has a pair of fast works on view and resides in a capable barn (Marvin Johnson). Has the inside post, and Johnson has his "go to" rider (Orlando Mojica) aboard.
