Houston at Washington

It would be easy to lose sight of what this Astros team has done since opening the season so poorly. This is a team that could have really gotten ugly in the second half of the season, but they have actually played better than all but three teams in baseball over their last 50 games. The Astros own a 32-18 mark in their last 50 games. Bud Norris has been an instrumental part of the surge with the Stros going 9-1 in his last 10 starts. The knock on Livan Hernandez has been his inability to maintain endurance over the entire season, and that is backed by the fact he is 11-23 after the All-Star break the last three years. The Astros are not only playing well, they are destroying the runline on the road when getting +1.5 runs leaves them at 12-1 in their last 13 road games. I'll back Houston on the runline.
