Houston is 15-3 its last 18 road games against teams with losing records and the Astros are 19-8 in Justin Verlander's last 27 starts dating to last season. Verlander is 9-3 with a 1.82 ERA and opposing hitters have a .171 batting average against him. The right-hander has 136 strikeouts in 113 2/3 innings while walking only 23 batters. Tampa Bay continues to use several pitchers per game and today it will be Ryne Stanek to get the start and pitch one or two innings.
