Houston at Seattle

Seattle pounded the Astros 11-1 last night as Robinson Cano hit a grand slam and had six RBIs and the Mariners suddenly are in first place in the American League West Division. Now they face Collin McHugh, who is off to a terrible start with a 1-3 record and 7.56 ERA after the Red Sox knocked him around for five runs and 10 hits in just four innings in his last outing. Seattle has won three straight and suddenly finds itself in first place while Houston continues to struggle in last place with a 6-15 record. Hisashi Iwakuma is 0-2 but he has pitched much better than his record indicates and gave up just two runs in eight innings in a no-decision against the Dodgers his last start.
