Houston at Rice

The Rice Owls have been a disaster on the road, but a very tough at home. They may be tougher here tonight as they are off a big win at Central Florida, their first road win of the season. Despite the sub -.500 record on the season, the Owls are an impressive 9-6 ATS and have been under the radar. They have only been favored four times this season, but have won three of those. Houston has done a good job at home, but the road has not been their friend. The best they have been able to do on the road is a two point win, and a four point overtime win at Sam Houston State. The Owls have gotten up for good teams with a 9-4 ATS mark vs teams with a winning record and Houston has really stumbled against the Owls as they have covered just three of the last 16 meetings. Houston seems to be able to hang close, but eventually lose, so I am on Rice on the moneyline.
