Houston at New Orleans

This is the first road game for Houston after opening with two home games and they didn't look sharp last week, losing 14-10 to Denver. The Texans named Brian Hoyer the starting QB in advance of the game vs. the New Orleans Saints, after which backup QB Ryan Mallett pouted publicly, showing his immaturity. The Saints have had plenty of offense in preseason with a wide-open attack and speedy young WR Brandin Cooks has been very impressive this August. And the coaching staff is utilizing him well, and they will here along with QB Drew Brees for three quarters. Despite plenty of offense this August (51 points in two games) the Saints are winless because they've been resting the starting secondary - until now, that is. Sean Payton is on a 6-4 SU NFL preseason run and is 8-1 straight-up in week three of preseason. A year ago they won at the Colts in week three 23-17, and will put on a show for the home folks to finally get a win going away. Back the Saints.
