Houston at Dallas

Before last night's Nuggets win, the Houston upset of Dallas was the biggest of the weekend. Houston played very well and caught the Mavs off-guard. Not tonight. Expect a solid performance on offense from the Mavericks. And expect a sub-par performance on defense from the Rockets. The Mavericks have not lost back-to-back home games ATS since March. The Rockets have not won eight straight games ATS in in several seasons. Home favorites of 3.5 to 9.5 points with double revenge (2 straight losses vs. opponent) facing an opponent off an upset win over a division rival are a nice 80% ATS (32-8) since 1996. Expect a bounce-back performance from the better team tonight - Dallas, who is 8-1 ATS after a loss by 10 points or more this season. One star on Dallas.
