(# 1) HOLY LARK - Enters this race in fine form at present. Trainer Dan Hendricks ran gelding long off a slight vacation, then dropped him in price and distance, which produced second lifetime victory. Moved onto the svnthetic surface here and continued his good efforts with a fine second place finish. Has a nice work here on 5/23, draws the rail, and Solis rerides again.

(# 5) Ymustichasethecat - Easy win last out over the polytrack here, when sharpie trainer Eurton dropped him in half, down to 16K. Also owns a win on this surface when he broke maiden here last fall. He's the field's only four time winner. No published works since the race and win on May 1st.

(# 8) A Shore Thing - Mullins barn in a season long funk, has continued into this meet as they're only 3 for 40 at Hollywood. The turf to dirt off a layoff, along with a drop in class, used to be a signature move for the trainer. Guess it doesn't translate as well onto polytrack. That said, he sprinted well at Calder as a two year old,and the grass effort should have him ready for this. This is first time on this surface.

(# 9) Bestdressed - Like Mullins, trainer O'Neill's overall numbers have fallen dramatically. Gelding showed promise earlier in the year, and has been given some time off. Comes back almost two months later with a nice series of works, including several on the polytrack. Has some speed to call upon if he's ready to perform. This is his initial run at this track.
