Top pick: #7 (PLANTSITE) - Stretches out in distance off a 2nd place finish going shorter facing slightly tougher here Nov 19. He's run well going two turns in the past and draws a nice post for his stalking style. Another plus is that Bejarano takes the re-ride.
2nd pick: #5 (E. P. Bombay) - Very speedy gelding tired last out facing much tougher and returned bleeding from the mouth. He's work well since then and is spotted where he'll be competitive today. Very dangerous foe.
3rd pick: #4 (Manofgold) - He's lack of early speed is a big minus and he'll need some pace help for any chance at the top spot. Bejarano abandons him for the top pick, but nice to see Valenzuela take the ride. He'd love a fast pace to help his closing style out.
