2nd pick: #6 (Smoking G) - Heavily bet when debuting here last April in a 4.5 furlong sprint, he was involved a spirited pace duel and while no match for the winner, he finished a clear second. Working fast for his return and trainer Pete Miller wins at a 28% rtae off of long absences.
3rd pick: #7 (American Act) - Sent off at 111-1 in his debut here on Nov. 5, gelding by "Quiet American" finished 5th of 12, beaten just under 4 lengths while having some traffic issues.
