Premium Pick

Top pick: #5 (MAGIC SCHOOL) - Heavily bet in her debut here May 14th, she broke slowly but put in a strong late rally to finish third. Trainer Barry Abrams brings her back quickly and moves her to the grass, a surface she was bred to love. Can win this with an alert beginning.

2nd pick: #1 (Sweet Baguette) - Home-bred rallied to finish second last July when debuting at the Pleasanton Fair in a $67K stakes race. Bet down to favoritism that day the winner turned out to be a pretty classy runner later in the year. Working fast on the local surface, trainer Dean Pederson moves her to the grass and she's bred to like the footing. Win candidate.

3rd pick: #6 (Nana Beach) - She's been a maiden a very long time but has finished in the money in 3 of her 5 turf starts. Can grab a share, but will need to do better for a shot at the win. Four-year-old is also trained by Abrams and the two fillies race uncoupled.
