Top pick: #6 (ROMAN CHARITY) - The small barn of Gary Stute is having a fine meet and he has this filly nicely spotted today at this 6.5 furlong distance. Stalker draws a good post for her style, and even though she's moving up in price is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #1 (Halfapondarosa) - Unraced since last Sept. when she was an easy winner on the Fairplex dirt, she's just as good on synthetics, and is working fast on this surface for her return. One-run type should get a fast pace to rally into and her trainer (Pete Eurton) won a pair here on Friday night.
3rd pick: #3 (Church Avenue) - Race off a claim by Dean Pederson and he'll be the fourth different trainer that this mare has run for this year. A synthetics specialist, she loves this surface (8-4-2-0), has fine early speed, and Pederson has won with four of his last 16 fresh off the claim.
