WIN

Many feel that Hawaii will give the Broncos a game here, but I'm not one of them. Yes, the Warriors put up 36 points on USC in their opener, but they gave up 49. Hawaii has won six in a row SU and ATS and posted impressive wins vs. Fresno State and Nevada, but they are running into a buzz saw here. Boise State has been the best team from the line of scrimmage in NCAAF when you consider both sides of the ball. I had them as my preseason No. 1 and still think they have what it takes to win it all. The Warriors have not played one team that can even be considered an average defense all season, unless you consider Army. And, the Black Knights held them to 353 total yards. This is arguably Boise State's best team ever. In their last 12 games on the “smurf turf,” Boise State has beaten non-BCS Conference teams by an average of 40 points per game! The Warriors, meanwhile, are 6-16 ATS on the road vs. a winning team. Boise State is 45-22-2 ATS at home in their last 69 and let's not forget that Boise State is winning their games on average 48-13! They are also 20-7 ATS in their last 27 vs. high-scoring teams (those averaging 31+ ppg). The Broncos know they have to put up impressive final scores if they want to make it to the title game, so style matters. Hawaii is a tough out at home, but when they make the long trip to the mainland, they are not that good. This game has major blowout potential and I'm on Boise State minus the points.
