(# 10) JOYFUL ACRES - A combination of the drop down from $50,000 to $25,000 and the reduction of quality stock still on the grounds makes this a good spot for runner to break maiden. This type of race earlier in the meeting would have drawn several horses from the big stables that for one reason or another didn't pan out. That's not the case today and that fact will make the top pick tough to down. Trainer Luis Olivares has had a very tough start to the year. Maybe this filly will help him break the ice.
